Side effects are rare but not unheard of. Please refer to our Standard Operating Procedures Manual for further information regarding the appropriate steps to manage any issues that arise and ensure you provide a positive client experience. Some things that clients infrequently report are:
Middle Ear Discomfort
When pressure is increasing at the start of the session, a client might feel middle ear discomfort.
The pressure change is similar to what we experience when flying, and there are ways to clear our ears such as yawning and swallowing. In addition, you can press the Ear Vent button to adjust to the changing pressure conditions.
In the event that the ear discomfort does not cease, please conclude the AirPod session and refer to our Standard Operating Procedures Manual for further information.
Claustrophobia
Some clients may experience claustrophobia. We would advise you to maintain contact with your client and reassure them, as required, to help alleviate any concerns.
Detoxification
If a client is experiencing high toxicity, they may feel unwell after the session due to the release and removal of heavy metals from their system.
If a client feels unwell, we recommend advising them to drink at least one glass of water to assist with the cleansing process.
In addition, a probiotic or similar supplement can assist with gut health and ease the effects of detoxification, in collaboration with a physician.
